The inaugural World of Mae 5k Run/Walk & 1 mile Kids Fun Run takes place in the scenic and historic Hartwood Acres Park during the gorgeous autumn foliage. The 5k course winds along a beautiful nature path in which live musicians play every half mile. This time of year sparks the magic in all of us and since this event honors a very special 5 year old girl, Ada Mae Grashow, costumes are welcome. This family friendly celebration will include free face painting, a chance to win great gift baskets during our auction, and entertainment throughout the event by a talented hula hoop troop! World of Mae is highly inclusive so participants of ALL abilities will feel at home and strollers, joggers, and wagons are very welcome. |
