Runners and walkers can park their car at Wildwood Chapel and board a bus to take them to the starting line located at The City Building of Aliquippa at 581 Franklin Ave. The course will wind through a residential area which will have 4 hydration stations along the way were individuals can pick up a prayer card that will have prayer points to fight addiction. Gambling, Alcoholism, Sex/pornography and Drug Addiction are the subject of the 4 prayer cards. The finish line is at Wildwood Chapel were there will be food venders, a Chinese Auction, children's activities and several organizations who deal with addictions will have information booths set up. The goal of this charity Prayer Walk/Run is to raise money for the Hopewell Police Dept. to purchase a Drug Detecting Dog. |
